The Autumn Blogger Tag 2018

Hi everyone, you all know how much I love to fall so,

Here we go with another fall post by moi!

I just want to let you all know that if this post sounds like it was written in a bit of a hurry its because it kinda was.

Here’s the thing

So I had been working on this post for 3 days now. Last night I finished all the writing, today I was putting all the finishing touches on and just as I uploaded the featured image and saved, somehow during that process all of my writing except for the title had been deleted. I went to preview my post and was in complete shock when the only thing that showed up was the featured image. Devastated I rushed to try and finish it before my Daughter woke up from her nap but I was in successful. Thankfully I am able to get it out the night after the morning I planned to have it done.

The silver lining I guess. Lol.

Now, before I start into my post I want to take the time. To shout out to another blogger. I had seen her version of this tag and that was actually my inspiration for the post. It was her open-ended nomination that sealed the deal for me. Her name is Tiffany and she runs a really great blog so go ahead and check her out. I’m sure you’ll find something you like.

Shall we proceed?

What is one candle you must light every Autumn?

One candle I must light every Fall is Apple. I prefer Apple orchard but ill settle for a light apple cinnamon. Sometimes I find Apple cinnamon a bit strong and it gives me a headache.

When you think of Autumn what does it remind you of?

Well, the specific word Autumn reminds me of my sister, but since I know that Autumn and Fall are always interchangeable (unless it’s someone’s name) I will also add that I think of all of the seasonal changes when I hear the word Fall. I think of the crisp morning air, the colour change of all the leaves, the brisk weather. I love it all really. #obsessed

What is your all-time favourite Halloween/fall film?

I feel like I haven’t stopped talking about this since the beginning of the season.

I’m absolutely head over heels for the Halloweentown series this time of year. It’s been my favourite since I was a kid. It taught me that you can really bring your imagination to real life. Such an amazing movie with good morals.

What Halloween costume do you have in mind?

Well, I do not have anything in mind for myself. This is the first year ever. I could probably pull out my witches hat but I haven’t planned anything. I do have my Daughter Halloween costume already though. I’ve had it since the beginning of September. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ she is going to be a Night Owl.

What is your Favorite autumnal trend?

My favourite this about fall is cardigans. I love love love cardigans. They’re the perfect way to dress up or dress down. The can be comfy and pretty.

When do you think of Autumn what drink comes to mind?

Sex in a Cup. My mom has this amazing homemade the mocha recipe and it is soooooo good.

Hmmm I wonder if she will make me one next time I’m over πŸ˜‚

What is your go-to an autumnal beauty product? A must-have staple.

Something I find myself using a lot of during the fall season is Batiste Dry Shampoo. Because it’s colder I go from showering every other day to every third day so I use Batiste to stretch my hair an extra day.

Do you prefer Apple or Pumpkin Pie?

Do you have any Autumn traditions?

When I was younger my family and use to go apple picking every fall. I also use to go to local haunted houses with my friends when I was in high school. I plan on doing so many things with my daughter though. I want to always do tons of baking with her, I want to decorate the house for fall and Halloween, I want to take up all the leaves and jump in them. So many things I’m excited to do with her.

The moment of truth, is Autumn your favourite season?

Yes, fall is absolutely my favourite season. I love literally everything about it.

As Tiffany did, I’d like to keep the nominations open. This means I’m not specifically nominating people but, if you feel that my post has inspired you to do your own, feel free to do so I look forward to reading them. β€πŸ‘Œ

Thanks to everyone who has made it this far. Ugh, it was so frustrating that all of my first version got deleted but I feel confident that this post is just as good as my first one was. I hope it never happens again. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Yes, autumn is absolutely my favorite time of the year! We just moved to NC and it definitely feels like fall right now. We were in the panhandle prior to this and it was ALWAYS hot and humid. Sometimes we got the cool winter months but not all the time.

Pumpkins are my favorite thing in the autumn – that and autumn leaves! And I guess all the other good things that I look forward to all year. It’s the time of my birthday (November 22) and it is the time when I get cooking lots of fun things, and I have just republished Edition 3 of my book, Pumpkin, Pumpkin: Folklore, History, Growing Hints and Good Eating, available from Thank you kindly for your wonderful post. I am so jazzed because this is MY time for singing and dancing!!!

This design is spectacular! You certainly know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
