I’ve had an epiphany.
Alright so I’m sure if your a returning reader here at The Coffee Mamma that you have probably read posts of mine about how much I loveeeeee coffee and how much I hattteeeee Decaf. Or some of the good and bad experiences I have had with coffee all together.
Or maybe you’re new here and have only gotten a chance to see some of my newer posts like The Mommy Blogger Tag or one of my current favorites and personally my most exciting post this Fall season Coffee Mamma’s Fall Bucket List.
Either way there one thing that’s obvious here. I am a mother who loves her child and her coffee. Recently though, I’ve had an epiphany. I’ve grown so much as a person and I’ve been learning new things every day. Today I thought I’d share with you one of the many ways I’ve grown and changed as a person.
You see I used to hattteeee decaf coffee the same way the average toddler hates getting their bum changed. Then after moving back home with my parents ready to take on a new outlook on life. A more positive energy than the negative I had been surrounded by the previous years. I finally sat down and let my mom convince me that decaf coffee is a good thing. And she was righttt!!!!
She basically told me that decaf coffee tastes the same it just has less or no decaf depending on the brand.
So I mean basically the moral of my story here is that I no longer hate Decaf. In fact I’ve been enlightened to its greatness and I now very much enjoy being able to drink a coffee past 2pm without risking the fact that I’ll be awake all night because of it. I now indulge in the glorious taste of the coffee bean and reap the benefits from the decaffeination.
Indeed I have changed from this Decaf hating coffee lover to this totally open to new things even decaf things type of coffee lover. I’ve found the beauty in decaf coffee the same way I’m trying to find the beauty of everything this life has to offer me good and bad. In truth, I’ve become optimistic again and I find myself continuing on this happy journey of learning and experiencing everything in the most clear-headed feet forward ways possible. Taking off my rose coloured glasses has been the best thing for not only myself but my daughter too.
Thanks for stopping by. I wrote this while I was half asleep so I hope you all don’t mind the rambling 😆
