1 cup brewed coffee, chilled

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup butter (room temperature and cut into small pieces)

1 cup of sugar

2 eggs

1 & 3/4 cups flour

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

For the frosting:

3/4 cup butter (room temperature and cut into small pieces)
